Worldly
Goods Shop helps The Marquis Project educate the public and raise
money. Our goal for our overseas partners is to help them gain
self-sufficiency by selling their crafts for a better return than
they get from regular commercial outlets.
Worldly
Goods Shop is proud to offer fair trade and certified organic
coffees, teas, chocolate, sugar and hot chocolate. These ensure
our partners receive a fair wage and provides the public with
an alternative to consuming pesticide-treated foods.
We
sell crafts from Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, El Salvador, Guatemala,
Peru, Chile, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Mexico and Canada. We
also sell alternative magazines (environmental, political, gay
and lesbian) and items including jewelry, handmade paper, incense,
candles, bumper stickers, music and buttons.
You can also visit us at our
storefront at 912 Rosser Avenue in Brandon, Manitoba.
We
are able to import wholesale quantities of fairly traded East
African crafts (baskets, drums, woodcarvings and handmade paper
goods). Contact us for more information at (204) 727-5675.
