The Marquis Project was established in 1979 by development activists in and around Brandon, Manitoba.
It has been sustained by the support and participation of individuals, families, congregations, schools and community organizations since then. What began as a small resource centre on world issues serving southwestern Manitoba is now a nationally recognized NGO.
We deliver educational programs to Manitobans, partner with Southern communities in development projects, and operate a successful fair trade store in downtown Brandon.
The contribution which Marquis makes to its own local area and to partner organizations overseas has been recognized by a number of provincial, regional and national awards. |
